Nuova Lecon belt conveyors can be realized in several versions. Their technical features are designed to meet the specific operational needs and norms of each industrial sector.
From constructive point of view the belt conveyors are composed of:
- Frame: built in shaped steel sheet, zinc-coated through “Sendzimir” process. The frame is made of modular elements fixed to each other through connection plates and high-resistance galvanized bolts.
- Towing head: built in high-thickness steel sheet and profiles, zinc-coated through “Sendzimir” process, where driving drum and driving shaft are installed. Driving drum, driving shaft and UCF supports are sized according to technical features and use of the conveyor and they can be easily maintained or replaced.
- Motorization: it consists of a gearbox and an asynchronous electric motor. The gearbox can be:
- coaxial type with chain-transmission and synthetic oil lubrication;
- pendular type in a synthetic oil bath, with transmission through belts and pulleys
- direct transmission, with gearbox directly coupled to the driving shaft and synthetic oil lubrication.
- Belt: smooth rubber ring connected through hot vulcanization.
The rubber ring is consisting of a core made of synthetic fiber, polyester or nylon and upper anti-abrasive and cut-proof material, highly resistant to tear, moisture and atmospheric agents. - Return head: built in high-thickness steel sheet and profiles, zinc-coated through “Sendzimir” process, where idle drum and shaft are installed. The idle drum and shaft are properly sized and installed outside the flank. Moreover, it is installed in the return head a threaded rod for the tensioning and alignment of the rubber ring.
Nuova Lecon conveyor belts can be equipped with a number of accessories according to technical and operational requirements:
- Vertical deviators to cut off and deflect material
- Weighing bridges for the control of weight of material
- Belt scrapers for rubber ring cleaning
- Motor-driven brushes for rubber ring cleaning
- Upper sides to contain materials flow
- Upper covers for belt protection from rain and powder
- Lower closing sheets to prevent materials fall
